Hi,
I'm a new member and was wondering if there is any way to find a listing of items 'wanted' by other buyers/collectors.
Thanks!
hi rsainani,
in all the years i have been here and that is about 6 or more, i have never seen a want list posted on delcampe. this is a fine suggestion but will it fly? that will be up to seb. there may have been reasons why this was not done for all those years. i think the reasoning was so that members were not selling directly between each other and bypassing the auctions. after all, this would take away the capacity of the site to continue without opeating revenue. it's a tough world out there and delcampe is in competition with some big batters in ebay and yahoo. and i bet google is thinking auctions too. you never know. but i am surprised at the stamp markets rise again and am pleased with it. it is a great hobby, and one surely can learn much from it. i saw evidence of this watching a game show last night when one of the contestants did not know the answer to a simple geography question about the u.s. and lost the game. should have collected stamps and would have known the answer. take care and i hope my advice helped.
a bientot,
