I take real pleasure in announcing the grand opening of the
new Delcampe.com category "Les Trouvailles de Max" in partnership
with the French Collectors Journal "Trouvailles" ("Findings").

Every month, Maxime Delcampe (my brother, in order not to hide
anything from you) will select several sites that are worth checking
out. This monthly selection will be accessible starting with every
first week-end of the month, at the URL

2. Updates
============
Concerning updates, there have been many on the site in recent
times. I only regret one thing, that I have not had enough time to
inform you periodically by this newsletter. Among others, I
wish to list:

- The possibility of modifying a feedback by sending it a second time.
- The possibility of modifying your maximum bid simply by bidding a
second time.
- A page listing all auctions by the same seller, arranged by categories
(Ex: Link (http))
- The managing of a black list through "My Account"

- The possibility of recovering one's nickname and password if forgotten
(Link (http))
- Significant improvement in posting speed of auction lists and
welcome page (with a very impressing time saving for the latter)
- The possibility of seeing all "Delcampe eXPeriences".

- A slightly more compact posting of the list of forum groups

3. The Delcampe.com Constitution
==================================
Its development is progressing very well, and I hope to submit it soon
to you in the forum. Regulations have become indispensable in order
to deal with disagreements that may unfortunately arise on occasions
during transactions. Once the regulations are in place, a more
elaborate type of assistance will also be brought on line.


4. FilaKortrijk 2002
======================
We shall be present at the national Belgian philatelic show FilaKortrijk
(Link (http)) from 11 to 14 July. We hope to see
many of you there, and we will take pleasure in spending a good time
together.


5. For the Webmasters among you

If you are interested in a banner exchange targeted on a specific
category, in remuneration according to affiliation, in a link exchange,
in posting of your personal sale listings directly on your site, or in

6. Do people speak about Delcampe.com in the media?

Every day I learn by the registration of new members that the site is
mentioned in newspapers and magazines (in print or on the net).
I would like to open a "Media" rubric on the site where members could
put articles and quotes they found in the media. For this, would you
mind contacting me whenever you find something written or posted
about the site? If it is a magazine article, mailing a scan would be very
appreciated, and, if the magazine is one I do not have yet, I would gladly
buy the issue from you and reimburse your postage. Thanks!
